According to the World malaria report, released on 30 November 2020, there were 229 million cases of malaria in 2019. The estimated number of malaria deaths were 409 000 in 2019, 67% of which were children under 5 years old.

One of the most effective way to reduce malaria transmission is to control Anopheles mosquitos which are vectors of Malaria.

ZERO by 40 is an initiative that works side by side with other malaria-fighting organizations toward the goal of ending the disease for good by the year 2040. At the London Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 2018, the world’s leading Crop Protection companies jointly announced their commitment to support the research, development and supply of innovative products to save lives and help eradicate malaria by 2040.
